This series explains the energy of each gate around the Spleen Center (these are known as the Fear Gates) so you can learn to master your fears and become unstoppable—in ways that are correct for YOU. For each gate, we’ll cover the circuitry of the gate, its gifts and challenges, its “fear,” and practical ways to apply this information. The Introduction to this series can be found here.
Every gate energy belongs to particular circuitry within the chart, which is like an electrical circuit board. This circuitry shows the evolutionary role of the gate energy and how the energy moves through the chart. Each Circuit Group has two Circuits within it.
Circuit Group: Individual
The Individual Circuit Group serves the world by bringing forth uniquely individual change (mutation) which indirectly empowers others to transform. It is personal energy, here to follow its own direction and not fit in with others.
The Knowing Circuit energies are agents of the creative process that drives human growth and evolution. These energies understand the world by simply “knowing,” not based on logic or experience.
Special Circuit: Integration
Gate 57 is also one of four Gates that form the complex channels called Integration. Closely related to Individual Circuitry, these energies bring change (mutation) through individual survival, living in the now, integrating awareness over time, and generally having little concern for impact on others.
High Expression of this Gate
Called the energy for Intuitive Clarity, this gate is the most intuitive and insightful energy in the chart. The highest application of this energy is to connect with instantaneous intuitive awareness. This gives you clear guidance about what is healthy and correct for you, and what is not.
Gate 57 energy can be subtle and may communicate in a variety of ways, so it helps to “tune” into yourself to notice those quiet insights. But this energy can also be penetrating and startling—not gentle at all. It sees and reveals the truth, no matter what!
If you have the Gate 57 defined in your chart, you are deeply intuitive and very attuned to vibration and sound. You are constantly assessing the people and environment around you to ensure your survival and well-being.
Low Expression of this Gate
Although the insights, clarity, and intuitive “hits” are there, it’s possible to not notice them, override them, or confuse them with your mind’s input. Staying present in the moment and using your Strategy and Authority for decision-making can help you stay out of your head and tuned into your awareness.
Your constant assessment of your environment can look and feel like hyper-vigilance and feeling under constant threat of annihilation. Over time, this pressure and attentiveness can wear you out.
The variability of intuitive awareness can cause you to mistrust it and feel indecisive and uncertain about moving forward. That uncertainty and fear of the unknown can keep you stuck, and possibly terrified of taking action.
If you ignore your body’s intuitive signals about your own health and well-being, you may find your immune system challenged and your physical stamina diminished.
The “Fear” of this Gate
All Splenic Fears are in-the-moment fears that feel so real they can stop us in our tracks and keep us from moving forward. But we are meant to simply push through them because they are not truly survival-related fears. They quickly dissipate when moved through, often never to return again (though it may take a few times of “doing” your fear to banish it permanently). Focus on using the high expressions of this gate to help you get past the fear.
The potential fears of the Gate 57:
-Fear of the future
-Fear of the unknown
Tips for Using this Energy
This gate is activated by the sun from approximately October 9 through October 14 each year, though this can vary by a day or two. While the sun is transiting through Gate 57, you may find that you are more intuitive about what is going on around you and what is correct for you. You’ll feel it as a flash of insight.
You may also feel hesitant about moving forward or taking specific actions because you’re afraid of what might happen… or what might not happen.
This fear of the unknown can be paralyzing and can keep you from taking correct action. You then may get tangled up in imagining various scenarios of what could go wrong, which could further paralyze you.
Any time of year, use these tips to help you:
-Stay intently focused in the moment, to not let your fears stop you.
-Be patient with yourself and your fears (and the fears of others). Those fears are just trying to keep you safe.
-Know that we are all in the same situation—no one knows for sure what will or will not happen in the future.
-Listen for that quiet intuitive awareness that occurs in the moment.
-If F.E.A.R. (False Evidence Appearing Real) is stopping you, take a deep breath and push through it.
-If your intuition leads you to feel hesitant, you may want to trust that intuitive guidance and wait.
-You may question your intuition because it can and does change as circumstances change from moment to moment. Practice trusting yourself, and use your Strategy and Authority for important decisions.
-Be deliberate in developing balance and discernment about your constant vigilance. Distinguish real threats from splenic fears.
