Quick Spotlight: How a Wise Projector is Like a Lighthouse

by Evelyn Levenson

One of my Projector clients, a 3/5 Projector, Right Angle Cross of the Unexpected (3) [see my post on Incarnation Crosses], shared the following story with me.

When she was a child, and even into her teen years, adults would ask for her advice! It seemed rather natural to her—no surprise there, she’s a Projector!—but she did notice that this was not normal behavior for most kids.

At an energetic level, others recognized her pure radiance as a wise being (despite her young years) and they were drawn to her. Projectors correctly using their energy are magnetic to others!

However, when she learned to be “assertive” in her life… others stopped seeking her advice. She was no longer correctly using her energy, and people were no longer drawn to her for advice and guidance <—which is the correct role and purpose of the Projector.

This story fits beautifully with my favorite analogy for helping Projectors learn to use their energy correctly:  the Lighthouse.

The purpose of a lighthouse is to be seen from afar and safely guide ships into the nearby harbor, especially in dangerous conditions like bad weather and rocky shorelines.

Ships know they can trust the lighthouse to hold its true position and shine its powerful beacon.

If, however, the lighthouse decides to become “assertive” or decides that it has to start “marketing” itself the way the gurus advise, and it starts running up and down the shoreline shouting, “I’m over here,” and further down the shore, “Follow me, I’m over here now!” then it is no longer fulfilling its important role.

Ships can no longer trust the lighthouse’s position and they crash on the rocks. There is no longer a powerful, steady beacon drawing ships from great distances.

Projectors are like lighthouses. When they’re steady in their purpose, power and message, and wait for others to be drawn to them (and they wait for invitations to come to them), they fulfill their role… and everyone benefits.

When they’re pushing and trying to make things happen, it rarely works well and the correct people, energy and resources are not attracted to them.

The Projector’s power and wisdom flow naturally when they wait for the right people and the right timing. It can seem hard to wait, but it’s worth it.
